The way things looked back in the day
It’s always fun to look through the great work of the past. While many people I know dislike them for some reason, I’ve always been a fan of old posters. It’s nice to look at packaging from yesteryear as well, it’s like looking through the window to a time before focus groups and execs dabbling in everything they get the chance to.
I love old posters. They’re not only fun to look at but it’s also amazing to look at them and think about the amount of work that went into them. These circus & vaudeville posters are 80+ years old. Who wouldn’t want to see horses & fairy ponies? Check out this flickr set with a slew of Classic, Vintage & Vaudeville posters.

Maybe the next time I to Pizza City (aka: Pizza Hut), I’ll try out a Witches Brew.

I see Pizza hut uses a small black and white version of their old mascot on their lastest television ad. He pokes his head out briefly right at the end. Thanks for posting this, I wanted to see the full-size after noticing it.
