Primary Flight 1 documents in delicious detail the first ever curated multi-site specific mural exhibition, featuring 25 of the worlds most influential contemporary street artists. During the Art Basel weekend 2007 in Miami, Florida, world-renowned artists including founding fathers of the street stencil, graffiti, and skate art moments collaborated on conspicuous walls strategically located around Miami. Maps outlining the street installation were circulated, allowing attendees to drive the area and see the entire exhibition in motion, even as the art was being created. The result was a diverse exhibition which subverted traditional formats for artist presentation and captured the attention of collectors and the media from around the world.
